This guide presents the benefits of kSuite, the suite of online productivity and collaboration tools developed in Switzerland by Infomaniak. The question of choosing kDrive and/or Mail separately rather than kSuite might indeed arise.
Choosing kSuite over Stand-Alone Apps
kSuite is more cost-effective, simplifies user management in a business, and consolidates all your products into a single billing with a single due date. The offer is recommended if you have or wish to have a domain name.
It also includes advanced and unified management of users and teams, as well as kChat, which cannot currently be ordered separately.
Here are some additional points:
- 1 invoice
- Dynamic address book for the organization
- Increased disk storage (per user)
- Custom Brand included with kSuite Enterprise
In summary, choosing this collection of web tools over individual applications offers benefits in terms of integration, simplified management, real-time collaboration, cross-platform accessibility, and flexibility. These benefits can enhance your efficiency, productivity, and overall user experience.

- Upgrade an Existing kDrive to a New kSuite
Infomaniak kSuite facilitates the creation and then use of different Infomaniak products (kDrive, Service Mail, kChat, etc.) based on a domain name.
But what happens if you are already an Infomaniak customer and want to subscribe to kSuite along the way?
Migrate to kSuite
If you subscribe to kSuite, you get products that are separate from your existing products.
But if you already have a kDrive or Mail Service, you can upgrade it to kSuite under certain conditions ...
And the opposite ?
You cannot separate kSuite products into separate products from the offer.
If you wish to cancel one product among those in your kSuite, you must cancel kSuite as a whole.

This guide explains how to start an audio or video conversation among one or more users on kChat, using Infomaniak's free ethical video conferencing solution, kMeet.
Create a Meeting among kChat Users
To chat within a virtual room using the microphone and webcam of your device, simply press the Call button visible in any conversation, private or public channel, via the app or directly in the browser:
- Directly call a user if you are in a direct conversation with them, or initiate a call to all members of a channel if you start the meeting from the channel; calling a user who is in "Do Not Disturb" mode will not trigger any ringtone or call modal for them, but they will see the message in the conversation
- The microphone is enabled by default when the call is accepted, but not the camera
- View meeting participants (who accepted, declined, or missed) using avatars in the kChat message
- Once the call starts, an emoji appears in your kChat status to indicate that you are busy with the conversation
- A message sent from the video (kMeet) will also be visible in the kChat conversation (and vice versa)
- Instructions regarding the start and end of the meeting are automatically displayed in the relevant kChat conversation thread
Specifics for Calls in Channels
- The call will not ring for call recipients, but they will see a message in kChat and receive a notification
- A message (warning) will appear if you attempt to initiate a call in a channel with more than 7 users
