Insert a module on a page
To insert a module:
- Click here in order to access the management of your product on the Manager Infomaniak (Need help?).
- Click directly on the nameallocated to the product concerned.
- Click on Customize my site:
Once in Site Creator:
- Click on the button Content in the left side menu.
- Click on Applications bottom and the content available is displayed on the right.
- Click on one of these applications to insert it into the page:
- Once inserted, fly over the module to access its settings:
Multiple module or missing module
If you delete one of your modules (such as the one to do a survey) already configured and want to go back press Cancel immediately.
You can also reinsert the module that should come back with these previous settings.
You cannot insert multiple modules of the same type to customize them independently of each other.

Click on the button APPLICATIONSin the left sidebar of Site Creator:
Insert count
To add a counter allowing the display of a count:
- In the left side menu click the button Content.
- Click on Objects in the list and the content available is displayed on the right:
- Click on one of these objects to insert it into the page and customize it:

Click on the button Adjustments in the left sidebar, then on Title of the site:
Company contact details
Click on the button Adjustments in the left sidebar, then on Contact details under Website Configuration.

Site Creator Limits
Content
- There is no limit to the number of pages or shop items that can be added by Site Creator.
- The total volume at your disposal depends on the size of the accommodation on which the site created with Site Creator is located; a Web hosting Usually has 250 GB of disk space.
FTP management
- You cannot access the files on your server-side site, either by FTP or by any other means other than the Manager offered from Manager Infomaniak.
Export of website
- It is not possible to import or export the website (to another host or other hosting, e.g.).
- The themes or modules are not exportable.

Specify the URLs of your different social profiles
Prerequisites
- Go to Site Creator:

To allow visitors to click on the links of your social networks:
- Click on the button Adjustments in the left side menu.
- Click on Social media.
- Enter the addresses of your various social profiles (Tiktok, Instagram, etc.) including a phone number and an email address if you wish.
- Save the changes at the bottom of the page.
Add your profile icons
Add icons from your social media in footer or header on your website:
- Click on the button Adjustments in the left side menu.
- Click on Social media.
At the bottom you can specify where you want to make appear the icons corresponding to the profiles you have completed above.
Save the changes at the bottom of the page.
Add Social Sharing Block
Among the blocks which you can add within a page, a block offers a line of buttons allowing the visitor to easily subscribe to your different social media.
Another type of block offers a line of buttons allowing the visitor to share the page on the main social media:
Getting the site's QR code
To obtain the QR code of your site:
- Click on the button Adjustments in the left side menu.
- Click on the QR code icon at the top:
You will be able to download the QR code corresponding to the address of your home page. So a user who scans your QR code will be able to easily visit your site.
Change the OG image of social sharing
When you share a link to your website on social networks, a miniature (Og:image for OpenGraph image) is often associated with it automatically:
- Click on the button Adjustments in the left side menu
- Click on General parameters
- Click on SEO and statistics
- Go down to the Open Graph image and choose the image.
This guide concerns the cancellation function in Site Creator Infomaniak.
Preamble
- No backup / restoration is possible from the Infomaniak Manager.
- If e.g. you delete a block of content and you want to restore it, you can cancel until Last 20 operations in Site Creator.

Add a link as a button
To add a button (which leads to the URL of your choice when clicking on it):
- Write the text of the button.
- Select the text.
- Then click on the chainon icon to open the part that will allow you to specify the link type and associated options:
- Configure the destination page and the appearance of the button:
- Save the changes to view the button on your page.
- Click on the button to return to the editor if necessary.
Add a button to top
To add and customize a button that brings the visitor back to the top of your Site Creator page as soon as the page scrolls:
- Click on the button Design in the left side menu.
- Click on More parameters.
- Activate the option to display the return button at the top.
- Save the changes at the bottom of the page:
Refresh the page if necessary to see the modification:

- It's not a chatbot or conversational agent; it doesn't necessarily answer generic questions or dialogue with you.
- It is an assistant who will help you write a text on the theme of your choice, including whether it should be based on existing elements.

How to use the assistant?

Then to start the editorial assistant:
- Click on a content block.
- Click on the magic wand icon in the edit bar to open the wizard:
- To go back to the main choice once a type of addition has been selected, click on the icon at the top right:
If the block already contains content and you choose to reformulate a paragraph, you will be able to select by the buttons of the wizard the tone given to your text (serious / friendly) and add or shorten the proposed formulae, e.g.:
This guide allows you to redirect visitors arriving on non-existent pages (former pages of an old website, e.g.) in case your site is currently managed with Site Creator Infomaniak.
Prerequisites
- Know the address (URL) of the page that has become non-existent.

Send visitors to the new Site Creator page
In the left side menu of Site Creator:
- Click on Adjustments.
- Click on SEO & Meta Tags in the part Site configuration.
- Enter the address of the old page (without the name of your site) under Redirect.
- Enter the address of the new page (or
/
to redirect the visitor to the root of your site, i.e. the home page): - Save with the blue button at the bottom of the page.
For example:
- Your previous website contained a contact page at
domainxyz.com/company/contact.html
. - Now your contact page is on
domainxyz.com/about
. - So you have to come in.
company/contact.html
in the left field - and
about
in the right field so that visitors still arriving on the old address (because of a not-up-to-date search engine or a click on a favourite e.g.) are automatically transferred to the new page.
A method alternative consists of: add a new page Site Creator on behalf of your old page address, then specify a redirect to the URL of your choice, and make it invisible thanks to the toggle switch below the redirect field:
This guide is about managing the forms that allow registration to the Newsletter you manage on Infomaniak.
Prerequisites
- Access to the Newsletter product.
- Having created at least one registration form.
Copy the code necessary for integrating the form
To access your Newsletter forms and get the integration code:
- Click here to access the management of your product on the Infomaniak Manager (need help?).
- Click directly on the domain name assigned to the relevant product.
- Click on Forms in the left sidebar menu.
- Click on the action menu ⋮ to the right of the relevant item in the displayed table.
- Click on Integration code:
- Choose between the JAVASCRIPT and HTML tabs to get one of the two types of codes useful for inserting your form on your pages and click on the blue button to copy the code to the clipboard:
The HTML code needs to be updated every time you change your form settings (so you will need to reinsert the HTML code if changes are made in the registration form editor).
Insert the form on a website
You can insert the same form in different places. You can also create multiple forms (to populate different contact groups, for example). Of course, a Newsletter is sent only once per contact, even if the contact is present in different lists/groups:
on WordPress
- Insert a new block in the desired location.
- Choose an HTML type block:
- Paste the HTML code obtained in step 6 above (switch from the Javascript tab to the HTML tab to display the code corresponding to your form).
- Click on Update.
- The previously configured form appears on your site.
on Infomaniak Site Creator
- Hover over the desired location on the page to make a PLUS button appear to add a block:
- Click on the PLUS button to choose a custom HTML code block:
- Paste the HTML code obtained in step 6 above (switch from the Javascript tab to the HTML tab to display the code corresponding to your form):
- Click on the blue button to Continue and preview your form on your page:
- The previously configured form appears on your site:

Add a search bar to Site Creator
To allow visitors to search for content on your site designed with Site Creator, you must activate the search bar:
- Click on the button Adjustments in the left side menu.
- Click on General parameters.
- Enable the search option.
- Save the changes at the bottom of the page.
- View the new search location on your home page:
A magnifying glass icon will be added to the header of your site and the search bar will appear if you click on it:
