Set up an invitation with the Guest Manager
This guide details the key steps for creating an invitation using the Infomaniak Guest Manager.
Invitation Creation Order
After building your guest list, the creation of an event revolves around these elements:
- an event name
- a date and time for the start of the event
- an end date and time for the event (optional)
- checking guest access during the event using a QR code (optional)
- the event location
- an event type (inauguration, birthday, dinner, etc.)
Next, to customize the appearance of the invitation:
- a logo
- a banner
- the colors
Next, to configure the send:
- group name of the invited group
- organizer name
- sender email
- language for automated messages
- registration deadline
Next, to complete the content of the invitation email and the event registration confirmation:
- email subject
- filling in the content (including inserting variables/custom fields based on the recipient)
Next, to customize the information requested during event registration (if the person accepts the invitation by clicking on the button in the email):
- pre-filled fields (name, first name, email address) and whether or not to enable editing by the guest
- adding fields such as text fields, multiple-choice questions, etc.
Next, to configure recipients and possible accompanying persons/spouses:
- to which contact list(s) to send the invitation
- number of authorized accompanying persons (between 0 and 20)
- whether or not to display the guest list in the invitation email
Next, to preview and prepare the send:
- preview the message, with the possibility to return to editing various elements
- enabling or disabling the scheduled sending for the future (and if so, on what date & time)
- enabling or disabling automatic reminders (and if so, on what date & time)
- sending a quick test to the address of your choice (not counted against invitation credits)
