Import data to kDrive (iOS)

This guide explains how to transfer files from an iPhone to Infomaniak's kDrive.

Prerequisites

• Own a kDrive.
• Have the kDrive app installed on your mobile device.

Manually Share Data to kDrive

on iOS (iPhone, iPad)

1. Select the data you want to send to kDrive.
2. Tap the iPhone's share icon:
   
3. Choose kDrive from the options provided:
   
4. Select the kDrive and the backup location - if it doesn't suit you, tap to change the storage folder:
   
5. Choose another folder or create a new folder:
   
6. Determine the type of folder to create (shared folder with kDrive users or personal & private folder):
   
7. Name the folder, choose any shared access, and then press the blue button to create the folder:
   
8. Tap on the newly created folder to select it as the location:
   
9. Create any sub-folder within it or confirm the chosen location using the blue button:
   
10. Press the blue button to start the transfer of your files to kDrive:
    
11. You can track the progress of the transfer to kDrive:
    
12. The upload occurs in the background:
    

Once the backup is complete, you will find these files on all devices connected to kDrive:

• Instantly on the web browser version of kDrive
• After downloading the list of these new files on devices where the kDrive app is installed
