Ticketing: set up the ticket office (general parameters)
This guide explains how to configure the general parameters of the ticketing system Infomaniak.
General parameters
The general parameters are organized in 3 tabs:
- Ticketing : the general parameters used on your ticket office
- Contact details of the organiser : information displayed on the online ticket office and on the Infomaniak portal so that visitors can contact the organiser
- General conditions : allows you to define the terms and conditions of your ticketing online
1. Ticket tab
- The "Visibility of the ticket office" button allows you to pass your ticket office in visible mode, when everything has been configured and after having activated the online shop; allows you to quickly make your ticket office accessible or not online.
- Test mode is used to reactivate the test mode. This option will no longer be available as soon as an order is made in real mode.
- The name of the ticket office you type in this box will be visible on the online shop as well as on the tickets and emails that will be sent to your customers.
- The URL of your website will be displayed in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) of the vouchers, instead of the legal name of your organization, if you do not want your name to be visible to your customers.
- To choose your logo, click on the pencil icon; the chosen logo will appear on your customers' invoice. The dimensions of your logo must be 600 x 160 pixels:
- By default, the currency of your ticket office is the Swiss franc (CHF). In order to give your customers the choice to pay for their purchases in euros (EUR), check the box "I want to activate another currency" and then check the box "EUR". The ticket office only offers transactions in CHF and EUR.
- VAT liability: Does your organisation have to pay VAT? In order to ensure this, please contact your legal or financial manager, or contact the town hall of your municipality.: Check the box "I am subject to VAT" once you have confirmed this information:
- You have the choice between different languages for your ticket office: 的 French - English - German - Spanish - Italian... By checking more than one language box, don't forget to translate the content of your ticket office (e.g. the description of your events) in all the selected languages.
- In this space, enter your organization's signature that will be visible on all communications sent to your customers:
2. Tab Organizer's contact information
The contact information you enter in this tab will be used for billing and on your online ticketing.
- Organization Name: Enter the name of your organization, company, association or NGO.
- Address - Postal code - City - Country: Be sure to enter the exact address of your name that will be used for accounting / billing.
- Email address: The email address you enter in this box will be used for order confirmations, tickets and event information.
- Tel.: The number you enter in this box will allow your customers to contact you in case of questions or problems. Be sure to select the telephone code for the number you wish to post.
- Name of SMS sender: Enter here the name you want to see displayed as a signature at the end of SMS messages:
You can leave the field of the telephone number empty if you do not want to communicate it to your customers.
3. General conditions
In this tab, you have the option to edit the terms and conditions. These must be accepted by your customers in their shopping cart before they can make the online payment. In this tab general terms and conditions are proposed by default to view and modify at your convenience.
In case you have changed the terms and conditions, you have at any time the possibility to return to the basic version by clicking on the blue text "Restore the default terms and conditions" located under the space of the general terms and conditions.
