Manage SEO / SEO Site Creator

This guide is intended for users of Site Creator Infomaniak who want to optimize the SEO of their site.

Prerequisites

• Go to Site Creator:
  1. Click here in order to access the management of your product on the Manager Infomaniak (Need help?).
  2. Click directly on the nameallocated to the product concerned.
  3. Click on Customize my site:
     

Add Site Creator to Google

To submit your site to the Google search engine:

1. Click on the button Applications in the left side menu.
2. Click on the app Add to Google:
   
   
    
   • You can insert the verification code if you use Google Search Console. 

Set Meta Tags

Once in Site Creator:

1. Click on the button Adjustments in the left side menu.
2. Click on General parameters.
3. Click on SEO and statistics.
4. Insert title, description and keywords from the entire site:
   
   

This is also where you can manage the file robots.txt If necessary.

To define this but for a precise page:

1. Click on the button Adjustments in the left side menu.
2. Click on General parameters.
3. Click on Subpage settings.
4. Click on SEO & Metadata.

If you do not intervene on this page, it is Site Creator that dynamically manages your tags.

You can also manage the URLs of your pages regardless of the SEO title of your page (page named "Contact" side SEO while its URL will be e.g. "/company").
 

What "Meta Keywords"?

To enter several keywords, separate them by a comma or similar:

Insert tracer codes

Your website integrates a module Statistics simple but you can use Google Analytics or other tracking methods (such as Facebook Pixel, Google Tag...) that require the insertion of a code on your site:

1. Click on the button Adjustments in the left side menu.
2. Click on General parameters.
3. Click on SEO and statistics.
4. Browse the page down and insert your tracker codes.
