Create an absence message template for your mail
This guide explains how to create a model for automatic message tool in case of absence for all your email on the web app Mail Infomaniak (online service) mail.infomaniak.com).
Preamble
- A template allows you to create the neutral base of a tool that can then be used by several users of the same Infomaniak Mail Service, or even customized according to the person who will use it.
- In the case of a model of answering machine, the creator of the chosen model the text to be sent when a new sender contacts an address to which the model has been applied.
- You can also hide a template so that it is no longer used.
Create an answering model
To create a template:
- Click here in order to access the management of your product on the Manager Infomaniak (Need help?).
- Click directly on the nameallocated to the product concerned.
- Click on Global Configuration in the left side menu.
- Click on the tab Answerer.
- Click on Add an answering machine template:
- Fill in the fields and press Add the answering machine template:
- If option Make visible is enabled (during creation or possible choice also after), created answering machine templates will be suggested to users of email addresses.
Enable a template on an existing email address
It is necessary to have an existing template to activate it on one or more email addresses:
- Click here in order to access the management of your product on the Manager Infomaniak (Need help?).
- Click directly on the nameallocated to the product concerned.
- Click on the boxes to select one or more e-mail addresses in the table that appears.
- Depending on the size of the screen first click on the action menu ⋮ or directly on Apply an answering machine model.
- Select the model of your choice.
- Only models made visible are available during activation.
- Click on the button Enable:
