Scan tickets using simple scanners
This guide explains how to use Android scanners to control tickets for your event on the Infomaniak ticketing service
Requirements
Check the connection to the Infomaniak WiFi. If no connection is detected, check the connection in the Settings menu of the device.
Use of the scanner
- Log in to the app using one of the following methods
- With the email address and password of the Infomaniak account with access to the ticketing service
- With the organiser’s code available in the Ticket control / Control tools menu
- With a code generated in the Settings and Manage profiles menu
- If necessary, select the dates at the top to display the correct events
- Select one or more events to scan (long press on each one for multi-selection)
- Point the camera at the QR code to perform the scan
- The scanner will indicate of the ticket is valid or not
The settings of the app
On the main page
- Quick ticket cancellation: allows pre-printed tickets (your unsold tickets) to be scanned in order to put them on sale again without consulting the orders in the Infomaniak manager
- Scan mode :
- Normal - classic scan, the ticket is authorised to enter once only
- Entry / Exit - validates ticks in one or other mode to authorise participants to enter and exit
- Multiple entries - validates and authorises several entries, ticket never refused (except if the date is incorrect)
- Laser mode :
- Bluebird - to make the app compatible with Bluebird devices
- Zebra - to make the app compatible with Zebra devices
On the event page
- Find an order: allows an order to be found using the visitor’s name or the order number
Flash: allows the flash to be enabled on the device
Scan per zone: allows tickets allocated to the selected zones to be limited
