This guide explains how to define the web app Mail Infomaniak (online service) mail.infomaniak.com) as the default mail provider on web browsers that offer it (Brave, Chrome, Firefox, etc. with the exception of Safari).

Set Infomaniak Mail by default

In order to configure browsers to automatically use the management interface of your Infomaniak emails when you click on email links (e.g. links "mailto:") and/or that you are trying to send an e-mail from a web page:

1. Click here to access the web app Mail Infomaniak (online service) mail.infomaniak.com).
2. Click on the icon Parameters ‍ Top right.
3. Click on Browser.
4. Click on Set Default Mail:
   
5. Follow the instructions provided by the used browser (a notification must be displayed at the top of the window):
   

In case of a problem...

To resolve problems using Mail Infomaniak as default mail, follow the manual instructions of your regular browser:

1. Open Firefox.
2. In the menu bar indicate about:references
3. In the side panel go in General, then Applications
4. In the column "Type and Content" select mailto
5. Click on Always ask and select " mail.infomaniak.com » as courier manager:

2. In the menu bar enter chromium://settings/handlers.
3. In the side panel meet in Confidentiality and Security.
