Create a new Public Cloud project
This guide explains how to create a new project with Infomaniak Public Cloud.
Prerequisites
- have read and understood the Getting Started Guide
- have Public Cloud on your Infomaniak Manager
It is entirely possible to create multiple projects on the same Public Cloud.
Create a new project
To access Public Cloud:
- log in to the Infomaniak Manager (manager.infomaniak.com) from a web browser like Brave or Edge
- click on the icon at the top right of the interface (or navigate through the left side menu, for example)
- select Public Cloud (universe Cloud Computing)
- click on the name of the relevant object in the displayed table, where a new project will be created
- click on the Create a project button
- name your project
- An OpenStack identifier is automatically created (in the form of PCU-XXXX), you can add a description (to specify who the identifier is intended for, for example)
- set a password
- click on Create to finish creating the project
Resource Level
The highest resource level available to your organization is automatically assigned to the project. You can change it at any time after the project is created. See also Action on an existing project
