Force kDrive to synchronize hidden files
This guide explains how to force the synchronization of hidden files from your operating system (macOS, Windows, etc.) from the application kDrive on your computer.
Preamble
- Hidden files
- are system files that are not visible by default in Finder or File Explorer, on macOS and Windows, respectively.

Edit the file view settings of the file explorer. You can do this by accessing folder options in the Control Panel, selecting the "View" tab, and then checking the option to view hidden files and folders.
Sync hidden files in kDrive
To this end:
- Make one left click on the app icon in the notification area of your computer (top right on macOS, bottom right on Windows and a double left click in the taskbar on Linux).
- Click on the action menu â‹® top right in the application.
- Click on Preferences:
- Click on Files to be excluded (in the partAdvanced).
- Check the box Sync hidden files.
- Click the blue button Save:
