Manage kDrive storage (my kSuite)

This guide explains how to control the storage space used on your free cloud offer and how to make room.

Preamble

• The free cloud offer includes a maximum storage of 15 GB.
  • Do you want to increase the total space?

Consult the free storage space

To access the current my kSuite offer and consult the storage space used:

1. Click here to access the web app kDrive Infomaniak (online service) kdrive.infomaniak.com).
2. The storage space used is displayed at the bottom of the left side menu.
3. Click on the chevron ‍ to develop the game Management of kDrive in the left side menu.
4. Click on Storage space in the left side menu for a more detailed overview:
   

Free from storage space

To recover free space on your free kDrive it is not enough to delete large files (videos...) because files still occupy space once placed in the basket.

Empty the trash from the kDrive

You need empty manually Trash to permanently delete the files that are there:

1. Click here to access the web app kDrive Infomaniak (online service) kdrive.infomaniak.com).
2. Click on the Trash in the left side menu.
3. Click on the button Empty Trash to remove all files from the basket...
4. ... or select files on a case-by-case basis and click on the Trash icon above the table:
   

Note also: as soon as a change is made to one of your files, kDrive saves up to 30 versions during 30 days This allows you to navigate between several versions of a file and to restore an old version if necessary.

It is possible to delete all versions of the document by clicking on the button Delete All Versions or delete versions on a case-by-case basis, by clicking on the icon ⋮ then by clicking on Remove, but this does not release any particular space because this versioning is not counted in your kDrive storage space.
