Preamble
- SwissTransfer is a secure online file transfer platform that allows you to send large files in a simple and efficient way.
- Unlike many other file transfer services, SwissTransfer accepts files up to 50 GB, which is particularly useful for large files that cannot be sent by e-mail or other traditional means.
- In addition, the data security is guaranteed because Infomaniak is particularly concerned about confidentiality and ethics is at the heart of its concerns.
Transfer data with SwissTransfer
To send files by SwissTransfer:
- Click here to access the SwissTransfer Infomaniak Web app (online service) swisstransfer.com).
You can also use the SwissTransfer mobile app (iOS/Android smartphone or tablet app).
Files that pass through SwissTransfer can be downloaded by the user...
- ...or 1 by 1...
- ... or with the "Download all" button which will create an archive
.zip
Downloadable:- If this exceeds 10 GB, then the data contained 1 by 1 will have to be downloaded.
- Therefore, if you have to send several dozen large files, it is better to group them yourself in advance into a zip/rar/etc archive. (read below).
Compress files before sending...
You can transfer with SwissTransfer several files by selecting them on your device even if the data to be sent includes folders.
To facilitate sending, nothing mandatory but it is easy to compress your files in a format like ZIP e.g. These manipulations will create a new compressed folder .zip
it will be possible to send faster with SwissTransfer as the total weight will in principle be reduced.

- From your computer, select the folder(s) to send.
- Right-click on the folder(s) to archive.
- Choose the option "Compress":

- Click on the "Compressed file" option.
