Understanding kDrive Data Analysis
This guide explains why analyses are performed on your kDrive data when you grant this right to Infomaniak, and how to revoke it.
Prelude
- data privacy stored on kDrive is an important topic, especially when humans occasionally analyze this data: analyzing data is essential for improving artificial intelligence (AI) as it allows feeding AI models with quality data; this can enhance the searches you perform within your kDrive as well as automatic categorization
- data is used only for these specific purposes
- the AI scans the file to extract the content and all related information; based on all this information, it deduces the category that is most likely to correspond to the document
- if the model is uncertain, the file will not be categorized to avoid errors
- read and understand this FAQ regarding the model used and everyone's responsibilities
Analyze entirely internally
Infomaniak is committed to protecting its customers' data and adhering to current privacy standards. It is extremely rare for an employee to intervene manually in this analysis system, as although the technical capability exists (hence this communication), it is not put into practice.
Obviously, Infomaniak is the only provider involved in this data analysis. Infomaniak does not allow any third parties to intervene in its systems to ensure the security and confidentiality of this data.
