Accessing a FritzBox with DynDNS (Dynamic DNS)
This guide explains how to access a domain name to a Fritzbox connected to the Internet with a dynamic IP.

Prerequisites
- own a Box that allows configuring a custom dynamic DNS provider
- a dynamic DNS must have been created on the relevant domain
Linking a Fritz!Box to a domain name
For this:
- open the management interface of the Fritzbox by activating if necessary the Advanced mode
- go to Internet then Access Authorization
- click on the Dynamic DNS tab
- choose the provider:
Custom
- fill in the following fields:
- Update URL (as shown below, or by replacing
ipaddr
withip6addr
if you want the Fritzbox to replace the "placeholder" with the IPv6 address instead of the IPv4 one):https://infomaniak.com/nic/update?system=dyndns&hostname=<domain>&myip=<ipaddr>
- Domain Name :
the URL
configured in the Manager during the addition of Dynamic DNS - Username :
the identifier
set in the Manager during the addition of Dynamic DNS - Password :

- Update URL (as shown below, or by replacing
- click on Apply to finish
