Access a FritzBox with DynDNS (Dynamic DNA)

This guide explains how to access via a domain name One-to-oneFritzbox connected to the Internet with a dynamic IP.

Prerequisites

• Own a Box that allows you to configure a custom dynamic DNS provider.
• One Dynamic DNS must have been created in the field concerned.

Link a Fritz!Box to a domain name

To this end:
 

1. Open the management interface of the Fritzbox by activating the mode if necessary Advanced.
2. Go in. Internet then Authorisation of access.
3. Click on the tab Dynamic DNS:
   
    
4. Choose the supplier: Personnalisé.
5. Fill in the following fields:
   • Update URL (as shown below, or by replacing ipaddr by ip6addr If you want Fritzbox to replace the "placeholder" with the IPv6 address instead of the IPv4): https://infomaniak.com/nic/update?system=dyndns&hostname=<domain>&myip=<ipaddr>
   • Domain name : l'URL configured in the Manager in the case of the addition of Dynamic DNS
   • Username : l'identifiant defined in the Manager in the case of the addition of Dynamic DNS
   • Password : le mot de passe defined in the Manager in the case of the addition of Dynamic DNS
6. Click on Apply To finish.
