Manage kDrive storage

This guide explains how to see how your storage space kDrive is used and how to increase its capacity if needed.

Preamble

• The maximum number of files per kDrive is not a fixed limit, but if it is exceeded, the stability of the storage system and the kDrive application cannot be guaranteed by Infomaniak.
• Only the special conditions of backup and storage that you can find on your Manager are authentic.

Existing limits

Maximum size per file sent via...

• ... app desktop (desktop application on macOS / Windows / Linux) = 1 TB
• ... web app (online service) kdrive.infomaniak.com) = 200 GB
• ... API = 10 TB

Maximum number of files per kDrive

• All offers = 300000‍

Maximum number of files per folder

• All offers = 50,000‍

Maximum number of subfolders

• All offers = 1000‍

Maximum number of downloads per file per day

• my kSuite = 5000/user‍ | my kSuite+ = 5000/user‍
• kStandard Suite 1 user max. 5000/user‍ | kStandard Suite 2 users min. 100000/user‍ | kSuite Pro = 100000/user‍ | kContinued enterprise = 100000/user‍

Bandwidth

• my kSuite = 200 GB/day/user‍ | my kSuite+ = 200 GB/day/user‍

View kDrive storage space

To access kDrive:

1. Click here to access the web app kDrive Infomaniak (online service) kdrive.infomaniak.com).
2. Click on the chevron ‍ to develop the Management part of the kDrive in the left side menu.
3. Click Storage space in the left side menu:
   
4. Choose large files (or file versions which are also recorded in the storage space) using the drop-down menu:
    
5. Click on the action menu to the right of a list file to perform an action (e.g. deletion).

Increase storage space kDrive

Prerequisites

• Sufficient permission within the Organization and/or kSuite.

To change the kDrive storage space:

1. Click here to access the web app kDrive Infomaniak (online service) kdrive.infomaniak.com).
2. Click Dashboard in the left side menu under KDrive Management.
3. Click Manage.
4. Click Edit Offer:
   
   • You will be offered the option to modify the offer or change the maximum storage space of your kDrive.
   • Once the offer has been changed, click Next and proceed to payment.
