Manage kDrive deposit boxes
This guide explains how to create a deposit box with kDrive to invite contacts to submit content (files or folders). The contents loaded by your contacts are sent directly and placed in the right place on your kDrive.
Create a repository box
To access kDrive and create a repository box:
- Click here to access the web app kDrive Infomaniak (online service) kdrive.infomaniak.com).
- Navigate into the kDrive tree that appears in the left side menu and go to the folder that will have to host the data collected in the repository box:
- Stay in the Personal file if the data is private and specific to your user.
- See you in the Common file if you want other users of your kDrive to be able to view the data directly from the repository box.
- Click the blue button New when you are in the directory of your choice (the one that will have to accommodate the data collected using the repository box).
- Click on Deposit box:
- Inform the name from the deposit box.
- Depending on the choice in point 2 above, you can still decide whether, despite a location in a common folder, you want to restrict access to your user only.
- Click the blue button Create:
- Share the link of the deposit box or click on Send by e-mail for the share with your contacts.
- Advanced options make it possible to receive an e-mail notification when filing a file, protect the file with a password, to add a expiry date and limit storage space from the deposit box:
- You can also in Customize Appearance.
