Modifying an email address (the part before arobase @)

This guide explains how to modify an email address, to edit the part before arobase @. That can be useful for lastname.firstname addresses if there is a change of last name (marriage for example) or for a change in spelling.

Changing an email address

To change an email address from the form

adress1@domain

to a renamed address

adress2@domaine

you must:

- either create an alias mail: https://faq.infomaniak.com/2129

then in the event of using messaging software, reconfigure you mail settings

and if you are using WorkSpace, change the sending address in the Signature
