Edit an email address (edit the part coming before the arobase @)
This guide explains how to change an email address within a Mail Service in case you wish to e.g. edit the spelling of the part coming before the arobase @ of your email address (= the prefix).
Preamble
- This may be useful for addresses

Edit the prefix of an email address
To pass from an email address of the form adresse1@domain.xyz

...to a renowned address adresse2@domain.xyz
…
... and given that it is not possible to simply change the spelling an e-mail address, you need to...
- ... or create an alias mail
- then in case of use of software/mail client, reschedule your mail configurations
- and possibly in Mail change the mailing address in the part Signature
- ... or Create a second email addresswith the new formulation
- then moving messages From one to the other.
