Jelastic Cloud offers a flexible pricing model that fits all types of use:

• The resources of your PaaS are provided with granular units, Cloudlets The power of your environments is determined by the number of Cloudlets you allocate to them, a Cloudlet offering 128 MB RAM and 400 MHz CPU.
• Resizing vertical and Horizontal Automatic resources offer you the guarantee to enjoy the best performance for your applications without paying for unused resources.
• By using Cloudlets, you automatically get discounts of up to 65%.

Difference between reserved and dynamic Cloudlets

When creating a container, you have the choice to allocate dedicated and dynamic Cloudlets to your environment:

• Cloudlets reserved are resources permanently available ; they are more advantageous than dynamic Cloudlets, but they are billed regardless of their use.
• Cloudlets Dynamics are resources that are active in the event of peak consumption ; they are only invoiced in case of use and according to your rules.

If you cannot estimate the reserved resources you need, it is recommended that you start with a limited number of Cloudlets and adjust your configuration afterwards. The 14-day trial period also allows you to assess your needs without any commitment.
