Restoring Hosting (Fully and Automatically)

This guide explains how to automatically restore a complete web hosting from backups created by Infomaniak.
 

Introduction

• Infomaniak performs a daily backup, and the last 7 are available to you in the Manager.
• During the restoration, the sites will automatically go into maintenance mode until the process is completed.
• As automatic file and database backups are not done simultaneously, it is recommended to check the proper functioning of the sites after the restoration.
• Beyond these options, no other backup can be provided; it is not necessary to contact Infomaniak for this purpose, but consider other backup processes for the future.

Web Hosting Restoration

To access the web hosting :

1. Click here to access the management of your product in the Infomaniak Manager (need help?).
2. Click directly on the name assigned to the corresponding product.
3. Click on Restoration in the left sidebar menu.
4. Choose the desired type of restoration:
   1. Restore one of the web applications you have installed.
   2. Simple Restoration to restore all websites and databases of the hosting.
   3. Advanced Restoration allows selecting the websites and databases to restore.
5. Click on the Next button:
   
6. Select the desired restoration date and complete the procedure.
