… are correct, so that Mail/Web traffic is directed to the right place.
Introduction
- To check, the tool checks the MX, A, CNAME, etc. records.
- You can thus detect and correct certain Mail or Web problems, especially if they are related to DNS (domain name servers, technical information that broadly determine where specific Mail or Web traffic should be directed) by acting at the domain level.
- The tool allows you to intervene on the configuration if needed:
- Automatic correction is only possible when the domain name is in the same management account as the product to which it should be linked.
- If this is not the case, correction must be done manually.
- Also, review the diagnosis of DNS records related to email.
Diagnosing a DNS Problem
To access the DNS diagnosis for your domain name :
- Click here to access the management of your product on the Infomaniak Manager (need help?).
- Click directly on the name assigned to the concerned product.
- Click on DNS Diagnostic in the left sidebar.
- If DNS issues are detected, a red display on the dashboard will indicate it:
