Show the EPP code of a domain managed by Infomaniak

This guide explains how to obtain the authorization code (EPP code) for a domain name managed by Infomaniak. You will need this authorization code to transfer the management of one domain to another registrar.

The terms EPP code, authcode, transfer code and authorization code all refer to alphanumeric sequences specific to the domain whose main objective is to verify the owner's authorization prior to a transfer between registrars.

Obtain domain authorization code

To obtain the Transfer Authorization Code:

1. Click here in order to access the management of your product on the Manager Infomaniak (Need help?).
2. Click directly on the nameallocated to the product concerned.
3. Click on the button Manage.
4. Click on Transfer to another registrar:
   
5. Check the box to disable the option Domain Privacy (if necessary) to authorize the transfer:
   
6. Click on the button Unlock this domain (if necessary) to authorize the transfer.
7. Click on the button Send code.

Particularity of certain extensions

• Fields .de (trustee)
• .be and .lu domains
   

And then what?

Once you have provided the authorization code to the third-party provider and the outgoing transfer has started, Infomaniak no longer intervenes.

Check with the new registrar for the transfer time during which the domain name will still be visible in your Infomaniak interface. Unfortunately Infomaniak cannot intervene on any operation that would speed up the outgoing transfer.
