Put an e-mail on hold (remind / snooze function)

This guide explains how to place a temporary e-mail on the Web app until a specific date/time. Mail Infomaniak (online service) mail.infomaniak.com).

Preamble

• To maximum 1000 discussions the inbox only can be put on hold, this until maximum 1 year (this hold-up may be Stopped or Temporarily modified at any time).
• When placed on hold:
  • The discussion is moved to a folder "Pending" visible on the Mail app and on which the number of pending discussions is displayed.
  • If a new message arrives in a queued discussion, it will be automatically cancelled and the discussion will be visible in the inbox.
• When the deadline arrives:
  • The discussion automatically returns to the reception box, in first position, with a particular notification.
  • The message, until it is read, will display an indication "Waiting from X" (X being the date the message returned to the inbox).
• On one Outlook type email client/software in IMAP:
  • When putting on hold, the discussion remain in its original place.
  • If you manually move a message placed on hold, the functionality on this message is no longer effective on the Web app side.
  • When the deadline arrives, the discussion will go up in first position as on the web app and a standard notification of "new message" will be displayed.

Temporarily archive an e-mail

Prerequisites

• Enable chat mode for your web app email addresses Mail Infomaniak (online service) mail.infomaniak.com).

Then to temporarily remove one of your messages from all your emails, and make it reappear in your inbox at the future time that you have programmed:

1. Click here to access the web app Mail Infomaniak (online service) mail.infomaniak.com).
2. On the relevant message or discussion, click on the clock icon in the toolbar.
3. Choose until when the message will have to disappear from your inbox, from the predefined choices or by customizing the duration:
   
4. Once put on hold, the message will be displayed in a new folder dedicated to pending messages.
5. The end date/time of the standstill is displayed on the side of each message:
   

To enable accessibility to this feature directly from the list of your messages in the inbox:

1. Click here to access the web app Mail Infomaniak (online service) mail.infomaniak.com).
2. Click on the icon Parameters ‍‍ Top right.
3. Click Customization in the left side menu.
4. Enable the functionality of put on hold in the part Overflight actions:
