Untie a domain name related to Service Mail

This guide explains how to remove the additional denominations of a Mail Service existing (everything that comes after the arobase @ of your email address), by detaching its domain names related.

Preamble

• Once removed, the domain name is again available to order a new Mail Service or to be attached to another existing Mail Service.
• Note also that you can rename your product in the Manager Infomaniak but changing the name of a Service Mail has no effect on its addresses. You have to act on the domain name.

Remove the related domain

Prerequisites

• Having dissociated the synonym domain name the main domain name if there was an association before.
• Have defined the domain name to untie as a domain Secondary (instead of domain) Main) — this inversion can be done by following this other guide in chapter "a" from point 3.

To untie a domain name from your Mail Service:

1. Click here in order to access the management of your product on the Manager Infomaniak (Need help?).
2. Click directly on the nameallocated to the product concerned.
3. Click on Domain management in the left side menu.
4. Click on Service-related areas in the left side menu:
   
5. Click on the icon ⋮ to the right of the domain name to untie.
6. Click on Untie the domain (read the above prerequisites if the item is not proposed).
   
7. Confirm detachment.
