Install a new WordPress Infomaniak site (+ uninstall)

This guide explains how to install a new WordPress site with WordPress & Apps from Infomaniak included in paid Web Hosting offers.

Install a New Infomaniak WordPress Site

To access Web Hosting and install WordPress:

1. Log in to the Infomaniak Manager (manager.infomaniak.com) from a web browser like Brave or Firefox
2. Click on the icon in the top right of the interface (or navigate using the left side menu, for example)
3. Select Website (universe Web & Domain)
4. Click on the name of the relevant object in the displayed table
5. Click on WordPress & Apps in the left side menu
6. Click on Install an application (or New application)
   
7. Choose WordPress and click Install
   
   

Two types of installation are available: easy and advanced for further customization of your WordPress usage.

In any case, you'll need to choose the site on which to install the application (via a dropdown listing the sites within your hosting), as well as a username (identifier) and password that will be used to log in to the WordPress dashboard.

Uninstall an Infomaniak WordPress Site

To access Web Hosting and uninstall WordPress:

1. Log in to the Infomaniak Manager (manager.infomaniak.com) from a web browser like Brave or Firefox
2. Click on the icon in the top right of the interface (or navigate using the left side menu, for example)
3. Select Website (universe Web & Domain)
4. Click on the name of the relevant object in the displayed table
5. Click on WordPress & Apps in the left side menu
6. Click on the trash icon to uninstall the application
   
   
   
7. Click on the red button to confirm the uninstallation of WordPress
