Add a DNS area (for external domain)
This guide explains how to order a DNS area from Infomaniak.
Preamble
- Owning the DNS area at Infomaniak is useful if your domain name is registered elsewhere (third-party provider / registrar) and you want to easily link this domain with Infomaniak products.
- Indeed it is not enough to own a site

at Infomaniak and enter the 2 DNS addresses of Infomaniak at the domain name registrar (if this is not Infomaniak) for the site to appear when you typedomain.xyz
in a browser. - You need to add a DNS area to the same location as the hosting to make the site work easily.
