Import VOD/AOD Media
This guide concerns the sending of new media to a space VOD/AOD Infomaniak. Be aware of this other guide if you are looking for information about replacing already imported media.
Add and encode a new media
To send your media so that it is encoded in your VOD space and then you can broadcast it:
- Click here in order to access the management of your product on the Manager Infomaniak (Need help?).
- Click directly on the nameallocated to the product concerned.
Then there are several possibilities for you...
- ... Directly on the homepage ( Scoreboard of VOD/AOD space):

- Click on Media in the left side menu.
- Click on Media management in the left side menu:
From this page, several possibilities are available to you...
- Click the blue button Import Media.
- Select one of the sending methods:

This allows you to choose a media on the hard drive of the device e.g. (or on a removable media) and upload it: - Import by FTP (no maximum size limit. but there must be sufficient disk space on the VOD/AOD space)
Enable the connection in TLS mode in your FTP software/client; FTP user management and settings are customizable and indicated on the page:
If you are using video editing software that allows publication by FTP (Adobe Premiere e.g.), you can export the media so that it is automatically imported into the VOD space; in this case, encoding a video will start automatically after it is imported onto the FTP; otherwise use the FTP software/client of your choice (Filezilla e.g.).
