Import a VOD/AOD media
This guide concerns sending new media to a VOD/AOD space. Refer to this other guide if you are looking for information about replacing already imported media.
Add and encode a new media
To send your media to be encoded in your VOD space and then stream it:
- Click here to access the management of your product on the Infomaniak Manager (need help?).
- Click directly on the name assigned to the relevant product.
Then several possibilities are available to you…

- Click on Media Management in the left sidebar:

- Click the blue Import media button.
- Select one of the sending methods:

This allows you to choose a media file from the device's hard drive (or from a removable media) and upload it: - Import by FTP (no max size limit but you need to have sufficient disk space on the VOD/AOD space)
Activate the TLS mode connection in your FTP software/client; FTP user management as well as parameters are customizable and indicated on the page:
If you use a video editing software that allows FTP publishing (Adobe Premiere p.ex), you can export the media so that it is automatically imported into the VOD space; in this case, the encoding of a video will start automatically after its importation on the FTP; otherwise use your preferred FTP software/client (Filezilla p.ex).
