Manage SMTP mail sending from Site Creator

This guide concerns messages sent from Site Creator (for example, contact form or e-commerce module).

By default, emails are sent using the unauthenticated PHP mail() protocol. We recommend changing this to the authenticated SMTP method.

Change the Sending Method

To change the email sending method from Site Creator:

1. log in to the Infomaniak Manager (manager.infomaniak.com) from a web browser like Brave or Firefox
2. click on the icon at the top right of the interface (or navigate using the left side menu, for example)
3. choose Hosting (universe Web & Domain)
4. click on the name of the relevant object in the displayed table
5. click on Site Creator in the left side menu
6. click on Customize my site

Once in Site Creator:

1. click on the Settings button in the left side menu
2. click on General Settings
3. click on the blue link More settings:
   
4. choose the SMTP method by filling in the details according to your email address as indicated below:
   
5. save the changes

• SMTP server name mail.infomaniak.com
• SMTP port 465 (SSL)
• username complete email address
• password email address password
