Modify domain name DNS

This guide explains how to modify the DNS (Name Servers) of a domain registered with Infomaniak.

DNS Modification

Modifying the name servers (DNS) of a registered domain allows you to control how this domain is associated with online services such as websites, mail servers, or other network services.

To modify the DNS of a domain managed by Infomaniak:

1. log in to the Infomaniak Manager (manager.infomaniak.com) from a web browser like Brave or Firefox
2. click on the icon at the top right of the interface (or navigate through the left sidebar menu, for example)
3. choose Domains (universe Web & Domain)
4. click on the name of the object in the displayed table
5. click on DNS Servers from the left sidebar menu
6. click on the blue button Modify DNS servers
   
7. if your website is hosted with Infomaniak, check Infomaniak Name Servers; otherwise, check Custom Name Servers
   
   

Batch Modification

To modify the DNS of multiple domains in bulk:

1. log in to the Infomaniak Manager (manager.infomaniak.com) from a web browser like Brave or Firefox
2. click on the icon at the top right of the interface (or navigate through the left sidebar menu, for example)
3. choose Domains (universe Web & Domain)
4. select the relevant domain names
5. click on ⋮ at the bottom of the screen if necessary
6. click on Modify DNS servers
