Fix a web reputation problem
This guide helps you protect the reputation of your domain name, to maintain the trust of Internet users and service providers in your website or your business, in order to generally facilitate the proper functioning of your messaging.
Web reputation
There are different types of internet reputation, including personal reputation, corporate reputation, and domain reputation.
Domain reputation is basically a score that determines how email systems decide what to let into users' inboxes. Basically, your domain reputation is a measure of the health and legitimacy of your domain. This reputation can be influenced by email and website security.
For example, the reputation of a domain can drop if the site visible at the domain address is hacked which leads to the sending of fraudulent mass emails. Ditto if the domain's email is exploited for sending unintentional spam. If your domain reputation remains poor, your emails may be marked as spam and fail to reach their intended audience. This can harm email deliverability.
