Translate the content of an e-mail
This guide details the machine translation service integrated with the Web app Mail Infomaniak (online service) mail.infomaniak.com).
Preamble
- The interface Mail Infomaniak includes an automatic translator, both for reading and writing, for French, German, English, Italian and Spanish.
- This IA solution is not based on a third-party service (DeepL, Google Translate, etc.) contacted via API, but it is hosted, operated and partly driven by Infomaniak.

To automatically translate into a foreign language a message that you write in your language:
- Click here to access the web app Mail Infomaniak (online service) mail.infomaniak.com).
- Write a new e-mail without sending it.
- Select the text to translate.
- Click on Translate.
- Change languages if necessary.
- Click on Apply Translation:

To automatically translate into your language a received message written in a foreign language:
- Click here to access the web app Mail Infomaniak (online service) mail.infomaniak.com).
- Consult the email to translate.
- Select the text to translate.
- Click on Translate:
- Click on the Name of languages to modify the languages used.
- At the same place you can also copy in the clipboard the text that has been translated, in order to use it later:

Disable Translator
You can set the items that appear when clicking on your message:

- Click on the icon Parameters Top right.
- Click on Customization in the left side menu.
- Select or uncheck the actions you want to have by clicking:
