Show and transmit email headers
This guide explains how to display and transmit email headers.
Preamble
- An e-mail is composed of a header (
header
) and the actual content of the message (body
, body of the text). - Most email software/clients do not show the headers directly, but display or transmit them then allows Infomaniak support to identify the problems encountered.
- The headers of an e-mail provide different information such as:
- the sender
- the recipient
- date
- the object
- the servers involved in the transmission between the sender and the recipient
